Welcome to the North Wales RSL Equality Partnership (NWREP)
The North Wales RSL Equality Partnership was formed back in 2001 to take a joint approach to promote equality in housing in North Wales. The partnership organisations strive to ensure that we are accessible and open organisations for all our residents, applicants, Board members and staff. Read more About NWREP
Who are we?
NWREP is a partnership of North Wales based Housing Associations, namely Clwyd Alyn Housing Association (a member of the Pennaf Housing Group), Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd, Cymdeithas Tai Eryri, North Wales Housing Association and Wales & West Housing Association. North Wales Regional Equality Network (NWREN) is also a member of the Partnership.
Working in partnership
The Partnership was formed originally in 2001 in order to develop a Regional Black Minority Ethnic (BME) Housing Strategy, Common Race Action Plans, a joint training programme for staff, Board Members and residents, and a joint approach to tackling the problems of race discrimination and harassment. Since then it has broadened its scope to include all the equality and diversity strands of covered by the Equality Act 2011: age, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion or belief, race and nationality, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity and sexual orientation.
What do we do?
The Housing Association members of the Partnership are all providers of low cost housing for rent or purchase in North Wales, who operate on a "not for profit" basis. North Wales Regional Equality Network is a voluntary organisation, which brings together people interested in race equality issues in North Wales.
